Privacy policy

Bocina Group Pty Ltd (ABN 64 677 709 714; “Bocina”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you make an enquiry, our form asks for your name, email address and phone number. And it asks whether you’re enquiring as a buyer, investor, landowner or in general. With your enquiry we also record the page you sent it from (and the project, if you sent it from a project page). We record your browser’s user agent too: a line of text your browser sends to every website, naming the browser, its version and your operating system. We also keep anything you tell us when we speak by phone or email.

When you visit the website, we use 2 analytics services to understand how it’s used and to improve it:

• Google Analytics records the pages you visit, how long you stay, and how you found the site (for example, a search). It records your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city or region, worked out from your IP address). It also records when you tap our phone number or email address, or send an enquiry. For an enquiry it records only the type of enquiry and the project, never your name or contact details.
• Microsoft Clarity records how you interact with pages (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement), which we see as heatmaps and session replays. Clarity masks what you type into form fields, so we don’t see it in replays.

Both use cookies and similar technologies to recognise returning visitors. Our website host also keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser and time of visit) to keep the site secure and running.

To keep spam out, our enquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser for signs of automated use when you fill the form in. We also record a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address with each enquiry, used only to limit repeated submissions.

We also use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to see how our site appears in search results. They report on searches, not on individual visitors, and place nothing on this website.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and tell you about the projects you’ve asked about.
• To understand how people use the website and make it better.
• To keep the website and our enquiry form secure and free of spam.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We won’t add you to a mailing list without your consent, and any marketing we send will include a simple way to unsubscribe. We don’t sell personal information.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with people and services that help us run our business, and only as much as they need:

• our website host
• email and data-storage providers
• Google and Microsoft for analytics
• Cloudflare for spam protection
• people working with us on a project you’ve enquired about, such as our sales agents.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to Australian law.

Your choices

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify them.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us using the details below. If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your information, please tell us and we’ll respond within 30 days. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
